Anthem in the West (AIW) is a 4-bed, Community Crisis Home (CCH), Adult Residential Facility (18 to 59 years of age).

24-hour supervision, Delayed Egress, 18-month transition services to an identified home placement in California, Private rooms, Security cameras, Window/door chimes, Social skills training, Enhanced staffing/experienced staff, Emergency Intervention services, Experienced staff, Supervision by a Licensed Psychiatric Technician/ Registered Behavior Technician 


Anthem in the West CCH will serve individuals currently residing at Porterville Developmental Center, Secure Treatment area. Individuals may have a mild to moderate intellectual disability and a co-occurring mental health diagnosis. 

Anthem in the West CCH specializes in planning and implementing treatment to developmentally disabled individuals who currently are or have a history of being involved in criminal activity, mental health problems, inappropriate sexual behavior, physical and/or verbal aggression, property destruction, violent outbursts, taunting and teasing, threats, self-injurious behavior (SIB), compulsive eating disorders, AWOL, and are court ordered into the facility.
