Valor in the West (VIW) is a 4 bed, Enhanced Behavioral Support Home (EBSH w/ Delayed Egress) Adult Residential Facility (18 to 59 years of age). VIW is located in a rural community in North Visalia. 

Delayed Egress, 24-hour supervision, Private rooms, Security cameras , Window/door chimes, Social skills training, Trained/experienced staff, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Staff  

VIW will serve individuals currently residing at, or who are at risk of entering, a developmental center. Individuals may have a mild to moderate intellectual disability and a co-occurring mental health diagnosis.  

VIW specializes in planning and implementing treatment to developmentally disabled individuals who currently are or have a history of being involved in criminal activity, mental health problems, inappropriate sexual behavior, physical and/or verbal aggression, property destruction, violent outbursts, taunting and teasing, threats, self-injurious behavior (SIB), compulsive eating disorders, AWOL, and are court ordered into the facility.
